3 Days, 2 Nights trip to Shanghai  

About Shanghai:

Located on China's central coast, country's biggest city and global financial hub.

A popular tourist destination with historic landmarks, welcoming 6.7 million international tourist in 2024.

Travel method: 

Hong Kong (HKG) <--> Shanghai (SHA) flight (2.5 hours)

Note:

Hong Kong International Airport is large yet impressively organized, made travel smooth and efficient. I arrived just two hours early and barely any wait. For those who come earlier, there is plenty dining and shopping options to enjoy. 

Shanghai International Airport is also very big, however, they separate the Immigration and bag check by airline (I took Shanghai Airline) so there was not much to do after going past security check. 

Also despite it being a 2.5 hour flight, they provided in-flight meal: Fried rice, fruit/soup, cake, snack. It depends on the airline but I was impressed by their hospitality

In-city transportation:

Taxi (Didi) is mainstream transportation in Shanghai.
